So me, ~spongerat , ~Rushifa , and ~Ohma have been rewatching Slayers, which was a highschool obsession of ours. Then we all dared eachother to draw fanart and put it on DA. (Well not so much ~Ohma )So this happened.
So anyway, Lina and Gourry from Slayers! I drew them in their manga outfits, cuz it's less ugly.

I got Ranma, Slayers, Slayers Next, Slayers Try, Kenshin, Gravitation, Trigun, Peace Maker, Samurai Deeper Kyo, Escaflowne, Love Hina, His and Her Circumstances, Fushigi Yugi.. and more ^_^'

I haven't been keeping up with the newer stuff. I'm sure some of it's good, but most of what I've seen didn't interest me much.
But it's fun to be an older anime fan with the new craze going on. "When I was your age, Inuyasha wasn't on tv! We had to buy Chinese DVDs off of ebay, and oh were the subtitles terrible! Now it's dubbed and on tv... bah!"

I and my sister agree - one of the most awesome animes of all time. And we also agree the english dubbing stunk. Anyone else notice that the guy they got for Gourry was the same one who does Brock's (of Pokemon fame) english voice?
My only good memory of the bad dubbing was watching the part where Shabranigdo shows up and switching between english and japanese; he goes "Hee hee hee *switch* ho ho ho *switch* hee hee hee..."
