of course i noticed! It's exactly how he should be portrayed, you know when a piece is good when you can identify the character without being told.
Am I the only one who imagines that Vetinari has sisters? He has the kind of "oh well" attitude that must come with being forced to play dress up as a child, it kind of means you can deal with anything calmly and reasonably i find

As a member of a huge family (mostly female) I can assure you that this is the attitude most of my male relatives take. I just thought that explaining where the idea came from might make it sound less stupid

Haha not at all! Envisioning him with a whole troupe of sisters definitely makes him seem more realistic and interesting to me. My older brother who lives with my mum and two sisters probably shares the same sentiment as well. XD
