Description Ok. ~Aethrega , *Koeryn , and I talked this over, and this is the list we came up with for the greatest videogame heroes of all time. The list is in no particular order. Here they are from left to right.

Samus Aran: This is the closest you can come to a non-feminist female galaxy saver and still come out looking hot.

Duke Nukem: He likes to kick *** and chew bubble gum, and he's all out of gum. sounds like a MN@.

Commander Shepard: This guy can talk his way out of anything, and can blow reapers to bits if he don't wanna talk.

Snake: As far as international spies go, this guy is the most believable. That, and he likes cardboard boxes for some reason. Which is awesome.

Master Chief: Between his gravely voice and the fact that he can punch through concrete walls, Master Chief is forever in the hearts of gamers as "the tall green dude who likes to blow stuff up".

PS: that's a barbeque stain to the left.

Master Chief: Don't complain about our Armor. You're part of a team now, and we stick together.

Duke: What makes you special? My games were out longer before yours.

Samus: You haven't read his biography.

Shepard: He was 6, when he began training, he survived his Augmentation, though many others died. He blamed himself for their loss.

Duke: Why is that, People die everyday.

Snake: You don't get it do you? The Chief wants to make sure his soldiers come back alive.

one word......................................................... Mario, I mean come on he kills a giant Turtle Dragon, with NO weapons, I think that is pretty high up there. but nice picks for all of them. now we just need a top 5 video game villains...

another hero that probably made it into honorable mentions - Issac Clark. I mean he killed hundreds of Necromorphs, and killed their Hivemind, and the Red Marker, and his own delusions. He is pretty high up there...

Three words: it's been done.

Mario is perhaps the most over-used and milked-dry characters ever to grace the consoles. I mean, he was alright in his heydey, but I don't consider an italian plumber fighting a giant turtle to save his girlfriend an incredible feat of heroism, comparatively.

as for Issac Clark, I've never heard of him.

Also:

I already have an idea for the villains...

Issac Clark is the poor fool from Dead Space, the gory survival horror games... IN SPACE! He's a miner or something. Kind of like Gordon Freeman, he doesn't talk, at least not in the first game.

Oh. in that case, he wouldn't be in here anyway, as he wouldn't be a strong character. not physically, but psychologically. actions speak louder than words, but words allow one to get inside the head of a character better than blowing up a bunch of aliens. go figure.

though, now I wanna get that game.

Hey, that's cool. I don't know if he's psychologically weak in as much as he's being affected by this alien relic like everyone else aboard this ship in the game.

Dead Space has some pretty twisted stuff in it. As a survival horror space game, the thing that struck me the most about it was the sound effects of the monsters. They are horrible in a very effective way. I haven't actually completed it; it's one of my neglected games. T.T

Haha, even though I don't totally agree with the list, I can totally agree that you picked some damn fine heroes.

"top" may be stretching it a bit. I was going for a mixture of well known and most successful, with all of them having a distinct personality.
