I especially love this because of the blossom shapes. They're not perfect, they're very irregular in such an intriguing way too. I especially like the pink on the right, not sure why, other than it's unusual and looks very pretty next to the yellow. And I like that you didn't totally fade out the leaves and stems in the background. The whole thing works together beautifully.

Wonderful lighting - color - texture, in the form
of dew drops - adds something especially
rare considering the other qualities. It's
tough to make a flower picture that is
outstanding. This is special.

Thank you!! I can't tell you how much your comment brightened my day since this picture was declined from several groups and I got a lot 'too blurry' responses although I felt it had a soft romantic quality to it. So thank you!!!

Well that just shows to go ya, doesn't it!
You have to believe that if you actually listened
to the critics all flower pictures would look alike
and the final verdict would be that their all dull
and trite looking. (Just the way they get them to
be). A lot of people say it's easy to take a flower
picture or a baby picture because they're all attractive
to people anyway. Like a Kitten picture - ever see
one that wasn't cute? But the truth is that these are
the hardest subjects to get any recognition for because
you really have to be creative to make them special.
The basics really have to be assumed and there, before
they will even notice. But try to be a little bit different
and wham! Speak with your heart. You know what beauty is.
You were born with the knowledge. They would love to
train creativity out of you as you grow up and whatever
escapes they want to be the first to point and say "Now
that's creative!".
