Oh gosh, I keep forgetting I have these drawing just taking up space in my Sta.sh
Whelp, might as well get to posting, lol. Idk if any of my older watchers will remember my other DC OC, Candice, but I've had her and Mags around for a while and I'm making a resolution to do more stuff with them. SO, be prepared to see them more; especially in collabs with my awesome bois.

History Notes: Child of poor, hard-working Hasina Yacoub, who immigrated to America from Qurac when she (a political/women’s rights activist) was framed for a crime she didn’t commit. Once here, her mother settled down and married a local businessman, Charles Clark. Candice was born and raised in San Antonio, Texas; it was instilled in her at a young age (particularly her mother, with whom she has a close bond with) that she was special but that even in the land of opportunity she must work hard to get anywhere in life. And work hard she did! Her desire to make her mother proud intensified when Hasina left the family to return to Qurac to "continue the fight", however she was never seen or heard from again. This spurred her to study her tail off all while helping her father run the many small business he owned throughout the city. She graduated high school at 14, went to college to earn a bachelor's in law, and then went on earned a Masters in finance at a young age. While in school for her Masters, she met and became friends with Veronica Cale, who was so impressed by this young southern woman’s ambition (Cale saw her as a younger version of herself) that she gave Candice a job the moment she graduated.

Her Story So Far: After a terrifying attack by Circe; Veronica Cale promotes her to Gotham to run the office building Cale owns there with occasional supervision from the mysterious Donna Milton. While there, Candice begins dating Joseph Kane, however it my have come at a bad time for both of them. Candice tries to balance this as well as her boss's strange behavior; what will she find if starts digging?

Personality Notes: Candice is a brilliant (if not a bit shallow and spoiled), hard-core career woman who prides herself on how successful her hard work has made her. In fact, she has a beautiful up-scale condo that she hardly spends any time in, because she keeps herself busy keeping the Empire office in Gotham working like a well-oiled machine. She is extremely competitive and has been known to be quite ruthless in dealing with anyone foolish enough to come between her and something she wants. She has little patience for fools and people who are ungrateful for what they have. Second to work ethic, gratefulness is the most important thing to her. Getting married and having a family couldn’t be any more on the bottom of her list.

NOTE: Given that DC Rebirth is changing some things up with Veronica Cale, Candy's info might be changed up a bit as Cale's role after this current story arc makes things clear. We'll just have to wait and see.
