Description Moar Mickey and all his aesthetically pleasing roundness. And keyblade.

Any guess as to what I was drawing on the sheet of paper right on top of this one? =B

[nitpick/]
Isn't the top of Mickey's -uh- snout right *on* the eye-line? On my second look it seems to me the lower part of the eyes should be visible...
Or are they hidden in shadow?
[/nit-pick]

It's surprising to me how appealing Mickey can look wearing almost anything.

You're right. o.0 I forgot about that. I guess my original idea would that his face would be in shadow, so let's go with that!

Oh yeah- so it does! (<-to previous comment.)

I don't mind Disney hype. 'Cause you've drawn it real well, and they're some of the characters I liked. Some of my first drawn things that I coloured digitally for DA were from Winnie the Pooh.

It quacks like a Donald.

8D I noticed it after I finished drawing. And I was like, "dernit.."

Now you get to decide if it is worth trying to keep track of something to use as a backing board. I just recently started using a really fine tipped ballpoint pen and getting the same problem. The cheaper, fat tipped ball points weren't as much of a problem.

You mean like a board to put behind a single sheet of paper? I suppose that would fix the problem.. but I'm not sure if I care enough to sacrifice the efficiency of having a stack of sheets to go through..

Though I suppose if I really wanted I could take all but one sheet of paper off of my clipbloard..

Maybe not "a board"...
A piece of card stock or a sheet of thin plastic.
(Some of that floppy thin vinyl from a really cheep 3 ring binder?)

Or...
Just keep track of the first 'ruined' sheet of paper during a given session of drawing - and keep moving it behind each fresh sheet.

It is really mostly a non-issue for line art intended to be scanned - *then* colored. If you intend to sell the physical art, one might do better working on heavier (quality) paper anyway.
*shrug*
