Hold still...I feel like the biggest poser doing TF2 fanart because I've never played the game and I don't know a whole lot about it. (Well, I played a couple of matches once, but all I did was run around the map completely lost, so I don't think that counts.) Sometimes I think about playing, but I'm like the Queen of the FPS Baddies and I just know I'd end up being that person on your team, ruining your match.
Anyway, here's a messy Medic sketch! I was gonna scrap it, but I kinda wanted a combo-breaker for all my recent South Park uploads.
This is also sketch 060 for the daily sketch challenge I'm doing.

This might be a strange idea, but what do you think the medic would look like as a Aperture Scientist? I keep trying to draw it, but I keep getting stuck on the boots.
My idea was for him to wear these boots that look lke a hybrid of his boots and the long-fall boots. But I can't think of a way to merge them. Any ideas?

i've played it a couple of times too and yet medic is my favourite ;~;
but personally
i don't think you're not allowed to like the character designs, seriously, played enough to know a lot about the game or not, they've still got neat designs <3

Maybe I'll give it another shot sometime! I'm always afraid to get into games-with-no-end since they can be so addicting, haha! If I ever start playing, I'll let you know. :')

I always think the same of your sketches. <3 I try really hard to make my sketches look as solid as I can (within the limits of my ability) because I know I won't be able to make up for it with color! Coloring is like this whole other scary animal to me, drawing's already hard enough! xD

Thanks! Haha, I've been toying with the idea of giving TF2 another shot, both the game and the fandom seem like a lot of fun. I'm mostly afraid that I'd either have to put in tons of time in order to not suck, or else just spend eternity pissing off everyone on my team. XD

Now there's a training mode for newbies, and if you don't play like Rambo in your first games, your team won't mind if you're new. With TF2 you're always learning (I have 700 playtime hours and still have to improve at some things)!

I've never played either, but I automatically assume I would like this character because he's supposed to be German, iirc. As a German major/future German teacher, I approve of that. <3

Yes, Medic is German (part of the reason I like him, too, I'm a sucker for that accent!). That's really cool that you're majoring in German! I would love to learn at least a little bit of the language someday.
