Despite what people below have said about this image - it is beautiful. I have called you out on things that you need to change with your work, this image needs no changing. This is a wonderful photo. When people are critiquing your work you should take it to heart because that is how you get better in the industry you have chosen to work in. However, a critique is something that is helpful - What I read below is not helpful at all and is hurtful. Not just to you but to the women who CHOOSE to be photographed by you. These hateful people are to be ignored completely because they do not have anything worth your time to read.
Keep creating beautiful ART because that is what it is.

Sorry to see some people being critical of your stuff. I can understand that they might be offended by the nudity of your portfolio, but that doesn't make them right.
Besides, compaired to the 'nudies' that most people post on DevArt, I think they should be at least able to recognize the effort and professionality you put into your work. Hope you keep going strong!

"Phoenix god" has a point of constructive critical adjustment issues with tasteful and non tasteful nudes
The quality of an image has a lot to do with the outcome a tasteful photo
But with lack of funds and financially tight budget, srefislimited does do a pretty good job with capturing tasteful nudes.
Feedback doesn't always need to be positive sure
But there's also a difference between actually being a true artist giving real feedback
And just bein a salty bitchy fish.
Maybe you should come up with some real input and commentary rather than a narrow minded bias opinionated worthless cat scratch

I've no idea what the photographer's usual level of competence is and never commented on such. I simply said that this particular attempt at classy artistic nude was abhorrent at best.

I'd have to be fucking insane to put any actual thought or effort into my comments here and actually expect the 'artists' on this site to A: read my comment to begin with and B: give a rats ass what my resoning for my opinion is even if they did. There are some exceptions, but they are few and very far in between, so i've stopped trying. If an artist actually does read my comment and care, and actually has the maturity and balls to call me out on why i dislike their stuff instead of just being one of those chicken shit asshats that just deletes every negative comment like this was the Earth: year 2066 forum, then I actually give them a well-explained (mostly) respectful critique. Because they;ll have shown me that they are actual artists who respect their craft, not just another one of the self-righteous, attention-seeking, douche nozzles that premate this site these days.

it's called the comment;s section, not the compliment's section. users are every bit as entitled to voice NEGATIVE opinions of artist's works as tehy are entitled to voice positive ones like "cool!" or "nice design!". Hate speech is when you go on to attack or defame the author or subject matter presented due to inconsequential outlying issue that speak more of the commenter's morality than his appreciation or depreciation of teh piece in general.
so, if you have used a black model, and i said "Nice picture, but why the fuck did you have to use a nigger in your shoot?" THAT would have been hate speech.

the anoying part is the fact that I'm honestly of the belief that the nude form CAN be artistic and evocative. Hell, I even believe that there is such a thing as erotic art.
this, however, is just a poor excuse of an imitation of erotic art photography that borders on softcore porn pinup modeling, and it gets under my skin because it's superficial crap like this that makes it REALLY difficult to argue against far right pundits and purists who try to claim that there isn't such a thing as artistic nude and whatnot.
it's nice to see there's another young male on this site that can still think with the right head. after taking a glance at your gallery I'm pretty pleased to see that you've got some actual thought and theme behind your work. and nude art is very difficult to pull off well, so I'm really not surprised when most people say they aren't into it. It's hard to find quality pieces (be it in photography or in drawing) that don;t just come off as raunchy.

If you didn't figure it out he just doesn't like nude art. If you send him a link of photos that you say were good (I probably have some in my favourites) he'll still ave a problem with them. Art's not for everyone....at least some subjects and themes.
