A character from my fairly recent idea for an animated series, "Thought". On the right is my original sketch, and on the left is a more recent flavour sketch. I don't often give way to self-insertion in my ideas (although Shuuichi Toguro is a fairly near miss, personality-wise). but "Thought" is essentially an exercise in self-insertion. All the characters are real people, namely friends from my old school, and all the enemies actually appeared in the games we used to play (ah, those screwed-up summer days of hunting the Bat Out Of Hell, or blowing up the living leisure centre...). This is Simon Regan, which tells you my name right off the bat. I wish to assure all concerned, however, that I do not go around floating a foot off the ground whilst throwing manifested razor blades...
