I was originally going to pit Sonic against the classic version of Mega Man, but then I realized: Modern Super Sonic easily stomps Classic Mega Man into oblivion. Now, the Sonic VS Mega Man debate is still a really good idea that I don't want to throw out the window, so I kept thinking about a solution until it hit me. Why not just pit the modern Sonic against the future Mega Man? After all, they are both the more serious and powerful versions of their classic counterparts, and it still is a "Sonic VS Mega Man" type of fight. So after all of that, that's how this idea came to be.
