I call this an enchanted wood. It is a Nature Reserve behind and to the side of the house. It is a beautiful and very special area, in which I had wanted to live for a long time and was lucky enough to buy a house in. There are fewer than ten houses in the road, so it is extremely peaceful, even though it is only ten minutes from the centre of a beautiful and important city. There are sounds of the male and female Tawny Owls, Greater Spotted Woodpeckers and Song Thrushes, all of which I love.
Sounds in the winter are often of an echoey, enchanted-like, nature.
I don't often give permission, but for you, Gabriela, as a one-off, I would be honoured and happy for you to use this pic. as a reference for one or more of your lovely works, but please do reference me. I really look forward to the result, should you decide to do so!
