I love this!!! I think this is really amazing in itself, but a background would really make it complete! I love the colors its almost as if i'm looking at a real coy-fish really you got the colors exactly right! and i love the little dots you put around them i dunno i think it just adds a little something to the drawing. This is really great and i hope you are going to draw a setting to go along with it! This is absolutely beautiful, let me say that first, honestly, I love it.
I really love to way you applied the color, and the finesse of the lines, it looks really delicate, and I think that's something you really want to portray.
I also really like the composition, though the fish in the top middle, I personally feel, is too close to the edge of the paper, though nothing that can't be fixed.
Here there really isn't any background, and I think you should push yourself to apply one here, or maybe in future pieces, whether it be space, water, a candy store, regardless, I feel that the negative space it too heavy compared to the Koi.
Again, there's nothing here you can't change, and I really love it! Please make more things like this C:
