Gorgeous work!! Very imaginative and eye-catching. I love the colors, they go very well together. And you've captured that intent stare perfectly!

I'm jealous, it's a beautiful picture. I actually thought it was a photograph in the thumbnail, you're amazing with colour pencils!

Oh simply exquisite! I am just now getting back into art after almost 20 yrs...My favorite subjects are animals and favorite medium has always been pencil...color was such a challenge for me. But I will be studying your work to learn and improve...I am also just learning about digital art...different but interesting...Now if only my 40 something yr old brain can get back into the swing of things...Thank you for sharing your inspirational work!

Thank you so much....I really appreciate your comments. I too am 40 something and use to potter with art some 20 years ago, but a couple of years ago I started again. I love watercolour but find it hard to keep control. With pencil you can be more precise. Good luck , please let me know how you get on and many thanks again.

I've said it before and I'll say it again, you are the preeminent artist when it comes to Boxers! I only wish I was half as prolific as you. They're so hard to draw with all the dark fur and folds!
Is there any particular reason why you choose to draw this breed so often?
I think this might be your best yet. I especially enjoy the bluish-purple highlights on the eyes, nose, ear, and collar. They really bring out the subtle dimensionality that's so hard to capture with these dogs.

Thank you so much again, as I've said before I love your work and really appreciate you comments. I seem to have got on a bit of a run with boxer dog drawings...the main reason I have focused on this breed is is they have an intelligence and expression that has more character than most other breeds and trying to capture their spirit has become a bit of an obsession.
Thanks so much again.
