im actually really happy with this piece. it started out as a random sketch of meta knight with some crazy giant wings, then i realized that it really needed a background. no winging it this time, i wanted to do it right. after several hours of searching, finding, discarding, then finding pictures of sunsets and moons, i made a sketch of the background. the ocean came out a little funky, but im proud of how everything else came out.i wanted to put the halberd in there, sinking under the waves, but i was out of space.
maybe next time.

You did a great job on the horizon, but the water looks really flat. Especially where the last rays of sunlight hit the water. Not that I can do any better, but.... Sorry....
