a request from of her OC Sir Shinaho.and thus I have rediscovered my incredible suckiness at bird wings.
I tried a new style at wings and attempted to make them seem shiny.
gawd, I should not have done that.ah well, one request down, 10+ to go.

Wow, seeing this reminds me of an old Meta Knight fan fiction I was big on last year. It was so terrible, but I have some good (and REALLY BAD) memories of it. Great job on the picture!

BLEH, it was a crap idea! He looked really cool in it, but honestly it was increative and lacked a lot of originality. You didn't do so bad on the wings here. They look great, actually! Just a bit of practice and those wings will be looking smokin' good!
I also would like to point out that wings are REALLY hard to shade.

I'm guessing you used Black colored pencil for the wings?
The positioning looks nice. I think it's only the shading on the left (from viewers side) that's throwing things off. It seems that the brighter spot(s) should be father in and the darker shadings needed to be more evident at the tips and the innermost part.
This looks fantastic though.

He looks amazing! Trust me, I'm terrible a drawing wings in different positions, so you're not alone. Funnily enough, some of my Kirby fan characters has wings.
