ayup, more Yokai Watch.

now i have never managed to utilize these guys in my team, but dang i love their designs and lore so much!
the middle guy, Chansin (or Shōbushi) was once a warrior who lost his honor and all of his belongings by gambling. now as a Yokai, his influence on people causes them to try their absolute hardest at some small, usually trivial challenge... only to always fail, no matter what. In the game, he's a really weak support party member, but towards the end of the main story if you do a certain side quest, you'll get the choice of either a Legendary Blade or a Cursed Blade as the reward. Give the Legendary Blade to Chansin, and he'll get his chance at redemption by becoming the warrior Sheen (also known as Masamune). Give him the Cursed Blade, however, and he'll become the ghastly Snee (better known as Muramasa).

that said, all three of them have abysmal defense and agility stats, and you can only get access to them near the end of the main game, so i've never used them for more than maybe three test battles.

now these are pretty dang messy, as i never intended to turn these sketches into inked drawings. i also made the poor decision of practicing hatching on these, and its pret-ty clear i have absolutely no idea what i'm doing X(

that said, i'm pretty happy with the colors and outlines, so i guess theres that. apparently i likes them enough to turn them into these: coming soon
