Clearly made for speed more than strength.
The fur is unevenly packed around her body, with a double coat along her scruff and tail but short, almost invisible fur alone her ribcage and inner legs

Personality:
Isa is not a dog you'd be eager to bring home to your parents, while easy to work with because of her quiet nature and competence shes not one to hold her tongue when in firing range and with a mean streak a mile wide, there's no mercy. She is sensible and a realistic dog, easily envious but it doesn't let it get in her way. She will be nice if it means she gets what she wants otherwise shes a bit of a playground school bully in the form of a mumbling mutt. She is not confident, making her overly conscious of her actions though not guilty enough to change them. She is happy to obey orders, thinking her obedience will gain her favours later on. She has dreams of joining a pirate crew or stowing away and escaping.

Positive Traits:

Isa is very willing to work with others if she feels like they will benefit her in the long run.
As long as there is a price on the table she is quite happy to aid anyone in their quest, though this may be to the benefit of others or otherwise.

-Predictable:
  Isa is predictable in her actions as she makes no move to hide her intentions. She will follow the rhythm of her own beat but that means that as long as you know the general tune that you can keep out of her way and coexist peacefully.

-Pragmatic:
Isa deals with things in what would be considered a very levelheaded and realistic approach. She wastes no time beating around the bush even if it may upset others. If you have a tough skin you can come to appreciate this about her.

Isa, despite her best efforts, is terribly shy. She hates talking to people and having their attention on her, considering their judgemental eyes too much. This makes her come off almost painful to be around when she's not spitting harsh things at you anyway.

This dog is not one to care about how her actions affect others, all too aware of their actions on her. She is spiteful and finds humour in lying to others and watching the outcome.

Isa doesn't care who gets upset once you get her going, she talks in only mumbles but if you were close enough to hear her clearly you'd notice that most of the words said were very much not in your favour and she makes no attempt to fix this

-Self Serving:
  Isa is a dog with high ambitions (though she doesn't really know how she'll go about it just yet) and it wouldn't be the first time she's dirtied her paws in her own name and she'd do it again, no matter who she needs to step on along the way

History

Pre-group History:
Isa was born to a family of twelve siblings and even more cousins. And with in-laws running around it got very chaotic. There were easily more than twenty-five dogs living on the same land and aside from her mother, she was the only female, the others having died in childbirth. She and her relatives did not get on, being the only other girl on the farm meant that she had a lot of chores to do and this made it easy for envy and resentment to fester. It didn't help that she didn't get along with her mother either.

She found it fun as a pup to play practical and sometimes cruel tricks on her family members, easily getting away with it when surrounded by rambunctious dogs. She found peace in those little moments of revenge. However, all good things had to come to a close and on one very wet and humid day, her mother announced that she would be married to a dog of the neighbouring farm. Isa was thrown into a fit of rage, causing her to attack her mother. While she had the element of surprise, she was still very scrawny and her mother overpowered her, sending her off to be punished by her father. Before he could lay his paws on her however she took off, heading to the coast with the intention of sneaking aboard a pirate ship and getting as far away as possible.

With nothing but her trusty compass she had stolen off one of her brothers, She travelled on. She didn't account for the storms and the hunger that plagued her on her way, however. It was a tough journey but when she finally arrived in the town where the air smelled of salt and fish she let herself collapse and rest her tired paws. She quickly signed up for the traders, desperate for enough money to buy a meal. She lived with a family who accepted her to do chores after work in return for a room.

It wasn't the life she was expecting but she was making it work.

Relationship with pirates: Isa envies the pirates and the freedom they have over their lives. She watches the boats come and go, keeping track of everything for the day she would take off. Perhaps she'll even steal one. The idea brings a small, cold, smile to her face.
