Biography:

As an only child, Jang-mi enjoyed playing outdoors, different from the way she is now. When she was little, she enjoyed picking flowers and making bouquets for her mother. Despite growing up with wealth, she never let it get to her head. She was very loved and easily made friends and a smart girl to boot. Her parents were absolutely proud of her. Growing up, Jang-mi liked so many different things at once, she had no idea what she'd plan on doing in the future. Her motto was; ''Let it come.'' No matter what awaits her, she would welcome it with open arms. And that's when this whole love-struck thing hit her when she was 17 years old. Boys liked Jang-mi before, but she never had time for them, let alone interest. One guy caught her eye, and to her amazement they started dating a year later. This boy is the reason she got into soccer more properly - she liked sports a lot, all of them, but because of him, soccer became her favourite. From going to see him play in matches, she ended up joining a club herself. Jang-mi finally knew what she wanted to do. This was her first love, her first boyfriend, and so the naive girl gave it her all. He was everything she dreamed of, and they were steady for a long time.
They unofficially broke up after 3 years. Unofficially because he just left Jang-mi behind one day, without even telling her goodbye. He didn't even tell her where he went, let alone that he would go somewhere. 20 years old Jang-mi started to build walls around her heart, not letting anyone in anymore. Except her (ex) boyfriend, whom she still waits for to this day. Her smiles turned into an unchanging face. She rarely talked anymore, and when she was outside, she'd never go without earplugs. Outside scares her and she feels anxious around lots of people. The only place she feels alive being outside, is the soccer field. That's when all her fears and insecurities fade. To honour her first love, she continues to try hard at soccer, as it is the only memory of him she still has close to her. Her family tells her to just give up waiting on him already, that he definitely left her behind, but naive Jang-mi doesn't listen...

Currently, at age 22, Jang-mi succesfully built a barrier. Even though she feels anxious around crowds, she plays it off well by hiding it. When communicating with people, she's always blunt and straight to the point. Sometimes too harsh, even. Most people who don't bother sticking around her find her mean because of the way she behaves. Now, going to Seungri College, thé sport college for wealthy students in South Korea, she hopes maybe seeing him here again. And if not here, she wants to graduate and become a top sporter, where she might call him out on national television. She's just a girl who's a fool for love.
