Me too! I actually made up a little story in my head one day about him surviving, having actually just gotten grazed by the falling pot and missed most of its contents' flood, and the other vermin not noticing because they were either buried or running. A little molemaid dug a hole under the Redwall lawn out the front door, and took pity on him and brought him inside through it, and tended to his hurts. Maybe I need to actually write that little story out someday.
