Oh yes, finally a proper graphite portrait again, I can all hear you think it!
Overall, the *actual* drawing time wasn't that long, it all went rather smoothly once I got started. The problem was to get started.
In the beginning I couldn't stop drawing, leaving the mask till last because this was the most exciting part, but then I got bored while drawing the mask. Yeah artblock. We've all been there. I wanted to finish the drawing, but I just couldn't be bothered! This went on for a few weeks, drawing an inch every few days untill this evening: I did not feel like drawing but it had to be done..and tadaah it is done! And it feels good :3

I'm not so keen on saying that this is my best portrait yet, but it is definitely the only portrait I am 100% satisfied with and a bit proud of even.
I tried to add as much detail as possible and I paid a lot of attention to the different textures in his vest and the mask and even skin texture.
I'm glad I -finally- got to draw Tom Hardy. I think he's done a superb job portraying the vilain Bane. He had only his eyes and voice to express all sorts of emotions and I just love it!
