There is a 1944 Italian movie called 'The Children Are Watching Us' which is quite good. Was just on AMC. Not a horror movie or anything though. Definitely drama.

maybe the burning of the girls features is a touch too prominent, find it slightly distracting in a borderline tacky way. Masterful composition as always though... love the body language and facial expression of the kid in the back... adds a darker almost sinister edge to the photo
