Game: AKANE THE KUNOICHI
Akane the Kunoichi is a game I picked up just recently. I’m not going to lie and say it’s the greatest game I’ve ever played, but it is a surprisingly solid 2-D platformer where you battle your way through enemies as the title character as she attempts to rescue her sensei from a group of enemy shinobi. The real selling point is that the game only costs $1 on X-Box Live and $2 on Steam so if you have any disposable income at all, you hav...e no reason not to get this game. You’ll get plenty of enjoyment out of it for that $1.

Akane herself is a young Kunoichi who witnesses her master being kidnapped and sets out to rescue him from his captors. Her abilities focus on platforming and kunai based attacks. She can attack with anywhere from 1 to 5 kunai and can launch powerful, screen clearing attack by using scrolls. Personality wise, Akane the Kunoichi is very similar to the old Mario games. You play the game not knowing a lot about your character, beyond her drive to rescue her master by defeating her opponents.
