This took me forever arghhh asdkhsddafTried to make it a speed painting-concept art style..so it supposed to be finished quite quickly. It didn't =3= I like how it turns out, tho. This drawing got so many 'first attempts' so I think I'm improving a bit
First attempt to paint a horse, first attempt to draw a sword properly *sigh* and practicing more on the lighting =3=Nico Di Angelo from Percy Jackson Series by Rick Riordan. Uh, maybe when he's eighteen. His face here is more mature than a 14 years old boy
;Watched the movie, kinda disappointed, then read some people said the novel is much, much, more better. Tried to read, and hooked to it XD;
So. Nico is not in the movie (yet? I dunno if he'll be in the next movie). He's the son of Hades. Kinda cool, cos he can command the undead, and able to summon a bunch of skeleton soldiers. He was such a brat at the beginning, but I liked him better as the story goes.
Actually I drew the skeleton soldiers, but the picture turns out better without them, so I just deleted it ._.
The tree basic shape was a brush I got from the ImagineFX mag
Feel free to comment / give critics! I need critics to make a better drawing anyway XD

Amazing! I love the way you drew and coloured his hair. The horse looks very good. I really like the atmosphere you put into this picture. One thing I think you could have done is put some reflective lighting on his face and more shadows too. Also, I think his foot should be turned front-ward more, but that's just me
