Since he's too scared to go to the beach to watch fireworks and doesn't really have any friends to drag him there, Maxie decided to celebrate July in his own sort of way: questionably legal lizard-shaped fireworks.Holy cow I spent way longer than I should have on this. But I'd say I'm pretty proud of how it came out. Lighting and stuff still isn't perfect, but I think it's an improvement from what I've been doing.

They actually do! Well not necessarily in the shape of chameleons lol but theres this type of japanese fireworks called katamono that make drawings in the sky when they light up. They're really neat!

oh my gosh, this looks amazing!! the lighting my opinion is just perfect enough for your style!! and again I love the details so much!!! Plus the fact that you went above and beyond and did a short comic is just wonderful. I think my favorite part are all the posters in his room!!! and all the little nick-naks! all your pieces really inspire me to add more to my drawings ouo i love this <3

I havent actually watched the show, but from what i know about it he probably tried watching it and got upset about all the pseudoscience in it. He likes alien tv shows like x files and stuff but thats because he knows they're meant to be fictional.
