Ok, weird story how this one came up. In science class, we're doinga lab on extinct species- how they became extinct and how people can prevent extinction of other endangered species. Almost without thought, I wanted to study extinxt species of horses. That's when I foundt he Quagga. A quagga is a mix of a plains zeba and horse. They were hunted because settlers thought they would be competing for grazing grounds of their cattle. It's such a same cause they were such a beautiful breed. Their are organizations trying to breed selective plains zebras and horses to bring this breed back. Hopefully somday this breed will return.

So, I was inspired to draw this afer I started researching the Quagga. I started getting to like the breed so much that I just had to make a quagga character. So, after a day of research and 3 1/2 hrs of work, this is my quagga mare!

Meet Adaeze. She's my own charrie and you probaly wont see her on neo, though she will have a page on freewebs. She was once a proud member of a wild plains herd, until one by one, the wild herds were hunted or captured. Adae was one of the one's captured to work. Attempts on escape had failed, and she finally gave up. She's currently still held captive, hoping for an opurtunity to try to be free once again.
