Description
This is both a request and gift for ! Many eons ago, like 2004 or 2005, I promised a group of friends birthday drawings. Of course, only one of them ever got done. ~rolls eyes at herself~ But now, there are two done! Anyways, requested shamanized Nina from Breath of Fire II, and I had a neat sketch, but I quit on it when I was sketching out the wings. also happened to get my 3000 kiriban, and for that, he requested Katt, also from Breath of Fire II. So I decided to shamanize Katt as well and draw them together!I loved working on this! Katt and Nina have gorgeous shaman designs. And taking my time on this made for less mistakes to correct in Photoshop! Of course, my scanner stuck weird color lines through the picture, and the right side was drastically lighter, so I still had a bit of adjusting to do anyways...
So here they are, the wind angel Nina and the fire devil Katt! Hope you enjoy, , and everyone else, too!
Matured because technically Katt is naked there (I think the red is just body markings, not fur like Felicia). And un-matured because nothing is showing...

I had this game on my GBA and loved it to bits. I got to the last dungeon though and suddenly stopped playing it...
I loved the "Shamanised Forms" though. One of my favourite elements of the game. Nice job on this pic

You should definitely finish the game! There are two endings, depending on a couple of events earlier in the game. And the final battle is pretty awesome.

Mine, too! I had Ryu, Bleu/Deis, Devil Katt, and Angel Nina during the final dungeon!, well, as long as I could anyways... The other one I liked was Mushroom Spar!

This looks splendid, Nadia! Love the poses, colors, composition, everything. In particular I love Nina's face, it's among the best I've seen from you -- the shy expression feels genuine and the lovely contours of her face make her look solid and 3D. Drawing two characters together and making it look like they're really touching and occupying the same space can be difficult, and I think you executed that really well here.
Also, I don't think this needs to be marked "mature"

Now that I'm more awake (potentially, at least), I should add a little bit more aside from the multitude of well-deserved adjectives!
Starting with Nina, I absolutely love her facial expression. Something about the way she looks at the viewer is just hauntingly beautiful. Her clothing and wings are beyond reproach, both in style and in coloring! Her hairstyle is also delightful, making Nina as a whole utterly captivating from the get-go.
And as far as Katt is concerned I know you said that you had some difficulty with her skin/fur/whatever it might be but in the final product I can't sense that at all. Her pose, her overall poise, as well as the coloring and patterns of her skin/fur are beyond reproach. And once again, Katt's hair, like Nina's stands out the moment you gaze upon the picture, making that a triumph. If anything I think Katt's smile might be a tad too high up on her face but otherwise I can't find anything else to objectively critique!
Finally, with the two poses combined? I have to agree with Amy in that the presence between the two bodies appears very palpable and believable. You really outdid yourself on this one, Nadia, and despite eons passing since it was first requested the wait was ~most definitely~ worth it!

The hardest part of the picture for me was actually the wings! In the official art of angel Nina, her wings are just straight, but here, I had a moving wing, and it was hard figuring out how to picture wing feathers with some closer to the viewer than others, not to mention to merge the original BoF2 artist's amazing design with my own style of wing drawing!
The far side of Katt's hair and skin were what was messed up by the scanner, so I'm glad that it seems like it all worked in the end! I had to airbrush the correct colors over the affected areas. I seem to keep putting smiles too high on the face...
