Here's my (late) Secret Santa present for ! I got , who has such pretty art! Most of requests were from games in the series I don't know much about, and I've been playing Eirika's route in Sacred Stones, so I haven't seen much of Ephraim to do a pic of him and L'Arachel (though I hear that their supports are awesome). So I decided to do a pic of L'Arachel solo! So far, she just has one healing staff in my game (Mend, I believe), so here she is casting it while on her trusty horse! I like that there are some mounted healers in the Fire Emblem series! I had a little too much fun with the perspective and the lighting/magic! XD The lineart was tricky, and that's why I wound up being a little late...

I got to the final battle but realised I hadn't finished a support relationship for Eirika, so attempted to trigger one ANNNND then she got killed. I don't think I've touched it since then, which was around 2006...

Oh, no! XD I don't know if I'll have an A support for everyone, but so far I have them for Seth x Eirika and Colm x Neimi. Can't remember if I have A for Joshua x Natasha yet.

I know I got two of the recruits to an A support, but that's about it. I have to say, I found FE: Awakening's method of support and marriages MUCH easier to do (although I wish I married my avatar to Anna now) and I hope it carries on into the next game.

I LOVE IT! Thank you for putting such effort for a gift and I know how tricky perspective can get, it can easily complicate a lineart and make an artwork a lot harder to finish, but I think in the end, the result is great along with wonderful lighting in the colors. And L'Arachel is great, she's one of my favorite characters, thank you so much for such a beautiful gift

I think this turned out really, really well! Drawing her from a "downward looking up" perspective and having the picture tilted a bit really makes it so much more interesting to look at at. And there are all kinds of neat little details that add to the picture like the lighting effects.

The actual perspective is looking down from in front of the top of the horse's head, but since L'Arachel as a rider is taller than the horse's head, you're looking up at her head! It's all crazy and confusing and the lineart gave me such trouble because of insane perspective! XD Thank you very much!

Ahh, alrighty. By "downward looking up" I meant to be referring the the viewer, not L'Arachel. So, the viewer is standing on the ground and looking up at her. Right? (or am I just confusing myself? haha) In any case, I can imagine how difficult it was getting the lineart to look right. But in the end all that extra effort seems like it was well worth it!

Nope, viewer is at a level right above her horse's head and is looking somewhat downwards. I think I'm confusing! XD But thank you! XD
