Mikayla is an MK600 android and is one of the side characters in Detroit: Become Human. She can be seen at the Detroit City Police Department as a secretary. She is a prototype designed to perform basic office tasks, but is well capable of defending herself.

Biography:

(Pre-Game)
Prior to Connor’s arrival at the Detroit City Police Station, Mikayla exhibited no signs of deviancy and stuck to her protocol. Her daily routine consists of filing, photocopying, welcoming guests in, and monitoring evidence that could possibly be tempered with. She has no formal relationships with any humans in the station, and has little connection with the other androids there.

Current Life:
After the Civil Rights movement, Mikayla began to become more open about her developed deviancy and newfound tendencies. She began to show her emotions, and her speech pattern begins to change throughout the course of the story. After the Freedom March held by Markus is broadcast on the television in the station, Mikayla becomes deviant and is more open about her feelings regarding the war between humans and androids. She interacts with Connor only a few times at the beginning of the story, but they soon grow to be friends after finding common ground on the issue of deviancy in androids. She is good friends with Hank and has a crush on Connor. He is still a little oblivious to her crush on him, but still acknowledges that she is attached to him. She still works at the Detroit City Police Department, and continues to do her daily routine. However, she has developed a few friendships with some of the cops, both human and android.

What she does in her free time:
Mikayla enjoys going outside as much as she can when she is offered the opportunity to do so. She strongly dislikes being stuck in crowded places, and easily gets sick of one area that she stays to long in. She typically goes out to stay in the park, or comes to visit Connor when he isn’t at the police station. Other than that, she also enjoys doing outside jobs.
