Description Photoshop 7.0 + Wacom

This was one of my easiest paintings, I can't tell why. It's not finished yet, I might not...ever. I don't feel like working on it anymore.

I like Jessica yet I'm not that "big fan" of hers, so this is for my bro, which is one...a big fan of hers...

EDIT: Forgot to mention that I'm looking for commission work... if anyone was interested.

That is a very impressive picture. I only do fractals where the mathematics draws for you, really, and you just have to add the light and colour, so to see what people can do "by hand" is amazing.

For me it's the other way 'round, I've never been into fractals and believe it or not I've just known from you that it involves maths and that fact seem to amaze me! It really sounds interesting ...

It sort of goes like this - you choose a formula in a program like UltraFractal and tweak myriads of parameters in the equation, and that defines a shape for you based on the maths. Well, it's sort of like a 3-D surface really. Then it's up to you to apply the colour in layers to highlight the shape in whatever way looks good to you. Give the exact same formula to two different people and they will come up with two quite different fractals. It's a fascinating artform, really.

Thanks, yeah I think I've spent more time on those together than on the face. I kinda hate those folds, they're not the most entertaining thing to work on..

Very nice, looks like you're only using two colors, three tops, excluding black and white. Maybe that's why?
