This Dr. Diez and Professor Pulson. Both are scientists working for Allied Chemical and Energy Laboratories or A.C.E. Laboratories as it is more commonly known. They were for my friends to be used in a superhero story that never came together.
You will note that their names have that “Peter Parker” “Lois Lane” kind of alliteration. They live in the fictitious city of Stirling somewhere in the United States. Not to be confused with the actual city of Stirling in Scotland.
The cute young woman is Doctor Diez She has all the good ideas and Professor Pulson has the practicality to make her theories work. They provide the superheros with adventures because there is always something going wrong in the world of science.
We first see them in these pressure suits because they are transporting the dangerous and cold super-criminal Ice Storm the maximum security federal prison on Blake’s Island. He escapes the heroes save they day. You know, the usual.
