The elven king of Monera, Varus, with the love of his life, Janea Dragonsborn. My OCs by ganassa.deviantart.com/ . Varus became enamored with Janea when the two met during a High Council meeting in Shamir. Janea had accompanied her sister Kayla, the ruler of Aidonnal, to the meeting of the Kings and Queens of the elven kingdoms of Pangia.

Janea would later travel to Galae, the Moneran capital to visit King Varus and the two would fall in love. They would be considered the most 'unlikely' couple, being such polar opposites. Varus was known as a brooding, vicious, hot tempered, elf with a ruthlessness that has made him one of the most feared rulers on Pangia. He is a great warrior who enjoys a good fight and is utterly merciless with his enemies. ( He's taken a liking to impaling Orc prisoners ). While Janea is a learned fae who has studied under the Fae Mages of Obeyan. She is a daughter of the legendary Josara the Fairy and Kaylor the Dragon. Josara was one of Varus' rivals and one of the few who had ever bested him. Janea is known for her kind and patient demeanor, her soft spoken wisdom, and her mystical powers.

Where Varus is known for cruelty, Janea is known for mercy and love. Her love for him became a calming factor and changed the king. They married, and had one of the most successful marriages ever. Their union produced three children and brought peace between Monera and Aidonnal. ( Even though a war nearly broke out between the two elven countries when Janea went to Galae to visit Varus).

Janea wouldn't take the title 'Queen' at first because she knew that the Moneran people did not trust her. Only after she defended the capital from an Orc and red dragon attack while the king was away fighting in Dark Tsathogua, did they embrace her. For only the second time in her life, Janea transformed into a dragon and destroyed the horde. She was hailed by the people as the 'Defender'. They begged her to accept the title 'queen' and she accepted.
