I tried to get shots of as many of the free sketches I did as I could. Here are a few plus a Zombi Kid I drew for D-Boy and the Michael's Venom.I do these rather quickly hence their sloppiness so please don't waste your time with crits as these are loooooong gone along with their owners. I'm not as fast at turning these out as I'd like to be but I have sped up some since I first started using Prismas at the shows.
And yes, these are FREE sketches.

Actually looks like alot of fun. Don't know enough people that draw seriously to participate in that. I guess you could call yourself luck with friends who appreciate your own talents. Great work even though they were quick.

Being surrounded by cool cats that like to just have fun and not take themselves too seriously is awesome. It's a tough enough biz as it is without people getting bogged down with useless things like structure when you could just be doing the most creative work you can.
Course it does help to be around like minded people who support each other and push each other to raise the bar with our art and craft.
As for the sketches, I'm trying to get to a point where I can do them as quickly as I do my pencil and ink sketching. I'm always worried that the person I'm drawing for is going to get bored just standing there waiting for me to finish.

Yeah....that's why I love the internet, it's easy to make the "I'm busy" excuse Because i draw so slow. I think being around a lot of people with the same interests really helps with the improvement and interest in what your do.

Most def. Don't sweat the drawing slow thing speed comes with time and sometimes being a fast artist just means you leave more mistakes on the page. The Internet gets me though those long bouts where I'm up here all alone in my mountains away from all my comic book buddies by keeping me inspired and working as well. But of course that doesn't beat sitting around a restaurant or at someone's house at the kitchen table drawing away.

That was the first time I've ever drawn Dr. Strange and it was all without reference. I mainly had the animated version from the early 80's Spidey cartoon with Firestar and Iceman in my head while I did this one.

You did pretty well for going in blind--cool as Dr. Strange's outfit is, the amount of fiddly details that could trip an artist up are many and varied.

Although it's a cliched comment, I have to say that your sketches look better than a lot of folks' serious drawings. I know those drawings made for a lot of thrilled and pleased fans.

Sketch stuff is so spontaneous that sometimes you just stike gold and other times you just end up with funky anatomy and big heads.
I really hope that the people I drew these for liked them though.
