Life was going on normally after the party. At leats, "normally" for him. Some things happened concerning this famous party, and he had some words about it; Clover was going to be evicted. Chrome wasn't the most close to her in the world, he can't really do anything. While he was in the kitchen lurking for some food, he quickly saw her, preparing some tea for herself. In the corner of the eye, he could see how awful she looked; sure, she was more than probably devasted by what happened, but not only, it was more than that, being evicted was not probably the oly thing. Not mentioning the strange black tears she had. He heard that she was sick, but never knew if it was really dangerous or no. He let her go back to her room, but followed her after, intrigued. Maybe he could try to check if everything is okay.

Once in front of the door, he knocked with his blue claws. The biped answered times after, with a silent voice. He entered after her invitation, seeing her laying on her bed, a cup of tea in her hands. Her glands was glowing in an yellow light, at least, from his view; was she using wind magic ? Or maybe earth ? That was impossible to tell for him, but it didn't matter. he walked in the room, closing the door after being inside, and looked at her with his blue eyes. The black tears was still on her cheek, some was washed thanks to a piece of cloth.

- Hey, I saw you in the kitchen, and erm, I was wondering if everything was alright.

He smiked at her with a comfy yet clumsy smile, not knowing how to act with her. She looked at him, trying to smile back, while lowering her cup of tea.

- Yes, thanks... I'm alright.

That was an obvious lie, but Chrome didn't paid a lot of attention to it. That was sure that with everything happenning, she won't feel right, but eh, at least that was not the worse thing that could happen ? She could always find a new place, maybe she had parents ? And it's not like her Cranny friends would give up for not living at the same place. He walked next to the green and sat down, his ears lowered. He looked away for a second, not really knwoing what to say more, before putting his eyes back at her.

- I'm very sorry for what happened. I really hope I done nothing wrong during the party, neither Alula.

That was probably strange for him to say that directly, but for him, it was bothering. Maybe he acted bad and made the situation worse ? He stayed calm, drank fruit juice rather than sap - he hates sap anyway -, sang to help during the party, and Alula stayed by his side, while some Wyngrew were dancing on tables or being completely sappy. They have not done something wrong, it would be impossible. He acted perfectly, right ?

- It's okay, you have done nothing wrong. Don't worry about that, it was my fault... I should have been more precaucious.

- No! I think you did all good. It was just the fault of other gro who have been less caucious, it happens... But don't blame yourself.

He tried to sheer her up, as best as he could, but he quickly ran out of words. Clover only noded and a silent came for a moment. He swinged softly his tail, a bit akward, until the yellow biped decide to talk again, not setting an eye to Chrome.

- Oh and, Chrome, I'm sorry for what happened to Izu at the Magic Class.

The quad was bot wainting for her to talk about this subject. But it's true that since the accident, they never had the occasion to discuss about it. He raised his ears and looked suprisely at her.

- Oh, don't worry about that... That was mostly my fault. You don't need to apologize. I feel stupid for what I've done... If only it never happened...

It kind of killed him to tell that; he never wanted that, he only wanted to have fun, why it had to result to that ? He couldn't hurt another gro... That was probably Magic's fault, he underestimated its power ? But it couldn't be his. He looked at the ground, at his claws. These claws weren't meant to hurt. But does he have it ?

- No. Chrome, that was my fault. I should have done something, and because of me, another gro was hurt. That's my bad luck.

Chrome looked surprised by her words. Bad luck ? He standed up, getting a bit more near to her, smiling dumbly at her words. It looked like a bad joke.

He cutted his own words, thinking again about the accident. Clover was here, with him, but it was not the only thing. Later, Finnegan almost died. And she was here. Was it also her fault ? And her eviction... Her illness... This cursed story must not come from nowhere. What if... She was right ? Maybe. Maybe it was indeed her fault. But what would it means ? That this accident, Izu's broken arm. It was never his fault. He did nothing wrong! He only wanted good things to happens, right ? A small and muffled laugh came from his mouth, followed by others. He felt relieved. He's still a good gro. Nothing wrong, no karma.
He raised his head back at Clover, smiling at her. His face changed for a funny expression, like he was about to laugh at her.

- Hey. If you're right... That would mean that it wasn't my fault right ? From the very beginning, I was for nothing in this accident! Said that I felt bad for days, that I barely slept the next day... Ah! And it turned out being your fault ?

She looked at him, surprised and shocked. She didn't expected this reaction at all. He laughed a bit clearly for a moment, before looking back at her, in her eyes. He raised his bod on his back legs to give himself a more impressive look.

- Ahah, thanks! I never felt better in my life. I feel like I did nothing wrong. It never was my fault. I can never do this. Never.

He finally lower down his body, before turning his back to her, with a more serious expression.

- That was a good talk. Anyway. Good "luck" with what's happening to you. Hope that you won't hurt someone else.

He left the room after these words, closing the door behnd him, and leaving her alone.
