It's not that different. Both are fanatically fighting for the rights of their people.

One of my older OC's has changed a lot. She was my first one and I've had her years. She's changed so much, I'm so proud. She's still changing, and it's only minor changes. But who knows? The next big change could happen someday.

Sometimes I churn out OCs like smartphones; what's really awesome now could be outdated later on. I pick up new designs and revise my existing designs.

The world of my OC's continuously changes as my perspective and knowledge of the world changes, they change along with that world. Summarized, my OC's change as I become wiser.

I have a furry OC for the MARVEL universe, and every time her design changes I make it her younger sibling. She has at least eight siblings now ^^''

indeed
when I compare my OCs ca. five-ten years ago and now it's a huge difference.
Sometimes I will just recreate them or make other chars from them.

My OCs aren't made to be like me, so this wouldn't apply to everyone. The only major changes I do to them are design changes and slight name changes.

isn't that a sign of narcissistic personality disorder where a person changes their personality all the time to become a mirror image of their victim and their OCs change right along with them?
I might be wrong on this but this stamp sounds a little disturbing to me...

I used to be super hyperactive and OMGEE SO RANDUM!!!1!, and my OCs reflected that. Now, I'm more chill, and my OCs reflect that.
Most of them.

I think it more means it you were depressed for a while you might tend to make more sad oc's but once your personality changes more you would expand and change how the characters act, tending to make them less Mary-sueish because there would be a wider horizon of character personalities. I hope this helped?

Yes. In a way, the Mary Sue is Β necessary because once you get older and wiser, they'll get to be a better character (hopefully). Β

Agreed! But then again, isn't a "Mary Sue" one that has the good characteristics of oneself? I've always heard that these characters are known to be considered "Too Perfect" meaning they have no flaws whatsoever... from your comment the person displays characters with the same flaws he/she has and when that person grows... the character grows too.
