Sorry, but I disagree. My purebred dog is by far one of the best dogs I have ever had, and I plan to own more like him in the future.
What it comes down to is preference, not fact, and you made that statement as if it were a fact...

sorry dude, but it does actually come down to fact, purebreds are extremely overbred and inbred, it is becoming more and more difficult to find reputable breeders, who actually take care of the pups and care about their well being, meaning not only physical but mental health, and also who don't just do it all for money.

in this video not only does it show how inbred and destroyed they are, but they even say that mutts are healthier.
Now keep in mind I am not saying your dog is not fantastic or even a destroyed inbred dog, that it is a happy healthy dog I think is absolutely awesome 
and even if I do think mutts are healthier, I think it is to keep in mind what breeds you decide to mix, if you mix two breeds known for problems, like they have now made a dachshua (or something like that) which is a Dachshund x Chihuahua mix, these are two dogs that are known for aggression problems, and also the dachs has back problems and the chihuahua head problems (skull) so it is now just showing up more and more cases of these being put down in a rapid manner because of health problems and because of increased aggression. So I do support mutts, and think they are healthy, but breeding different dogs and creating mixes just for fun without the facts on the table, can cause extreme problems, same as purebreds.
I didn't make this response to start a war or anything, I just wanted to share my opinion on the matter, as fact has a lot to do with dogs and their health, but I do see your point as in "which is the best companion mutt or purebred" is a matter of preference

What's interesting is that in my original comment, I never mentioned anything about health, or which is healthier between the two. You came up with that completely on your own & then went off on a tangent, directed it at me, obviously assuming that because I mention loving my purebred dog then I must think all purebreds are healthier by default, instead of actually having a well-educated stance on the matter, right? All I said was that my own purebred dog is the best dog I have ever had (but you had to object to that?) & that which one is "best" as a pet dog is a matter of preference/opinion - as in, what you're looking for in a dog, its traits, energy level, size, etc, what best suits your lifestyle - get it?
I almost thought for a second if you had not misread that part in my comment, then you would not have posted this response to me, but I noticed that it seems like you were really only looking/trying to bust my bubble for being so happy with my purebred dog. If your intentions were really so harmless as not to "start a war", then you should not have been so condescending, presumptuous / jumping to conclusions. Had you approached me in a nicer fashion without condescending to me like you are somehow superior to me (because I have a purebred dog, lol), then maybe I would actually discuss this topic with you, which I am more than happy to do with anyone in a friendly fashion with equal respect towards one another, but not when I am being condescended to & trampled on all because I proudly have purebred dogs, lmao.
It is widely accepted and praised/encouraged for people to express their love/support for mixed breeds / mutts.

Mutts are good dogs, my first dog was a Beagle Harrier/Swedish Foxhound mix. I had her for 11 years, she was my best friend. Around the same time I had a Wolf/Chow mix, he was great too.
My sister recently got a Morkie, which is a Maltese/Yorkie mix and this pup is busy but she's doggone cute!
I like both purebreds and mixed.
Though what I don't get is some animal groups protest outside dog shows like the Westminster show in New York saying mutts are better yet by the same token they're not keen on the idea of dogs like the Puggle being officially recognized as a breed not a mix or hybrid. Plus there's so many purebred dogs that are rare and not recognized by major kennel clubs.
I wouldn't mind seeing a dog show with Puggles and other designer breeds being shown. Once upon a time, all purebred dogs were mutts.

Yes they do. I would also agree as well (becuase I have been insulted and called a mutt myself, on several instances.) I love my mutt puppies, they have a variety of colors and features, didn't cost as much, lacked so many genetic deformities, and are jsut so cuddly.
