Sea Cadets is for people agaes 15-18 it is a great learning experience aswell as a great activity. you learn alot about yourself and what you want to do in life. When i did USNSCC i learned how to handle a fire hose, how to do pushups, how to lead a division, how to teach a class, how to be on collor guard, how to stand watch, how to keep a room "white glove" clean and most importantly hown to make and keep friends.

I Did color guard for the annual sea service awards. At these events there are a ton of high officers and i got to meet the CNO of the navy Mike Mullen, he even gave me his coin (they have a coin made to hand out). i have it here ill post a pic and link it to you when i get the chance.

Thanks! Which do you think would be better for me, a fifteen year old girl, CAP or Sea Cadets?

Okay, main differences are Sea cadets-navy CAP-Air.
i Remember working with guns and going to 2 week boot camp (actually kinda fun) in sea cadets. so leave it to your interests. flying vs. sailing

Defiantly great practice, and you get the chase to see if you want to make the commitment or not.
