She's all colored now
Was kinda fun, and helped get me kinda warmed up some yesterday.
It's Tala as a centaur, and actually I'm not sure if I did her horse body right, but I am kinda proud of it, so happy all around. She's kinda like "WTF?!?!"

lol I kinda thought since she's "'Stang" Wolf the hooves and horse body might work well
I do have a work coming though where she is more of a wolf-taur and has a wolf body instead. I kinda enjoyed doing both styles actually, the traditional centaur horse body and then the wolf-taur wolf body.

horse body looks good to me. It has a very lean look and with the prominent shoulders and lithe shape it resembles a colt's body to me. Frankly I think that style looks better on centaurs because the proportions match better. Adult horse bodies are kind of big and round and I don't think they look right with small lean human or anthro torsos.

I'm with you, I like the smaller sort of colt bodies on centaurs, I'm not exactly sure that's what I was aiming for when I drew it unfortunately, but I do like the way it turned out. Especially since I hardly EVER draw any kind of equine anything, I need to practice more.
