Made this about a month ago but finally got around to uploading it.I created a brief comic using the phrase "catch my heart" as my inspiration. ( for a school project )
I choose to interpret it in a organ donation way.
Because I feel strongly about being an organ donor and helping save someones life...
These were all done in watercolor and ink. The original was matted on a black board, I had to scan these all and put them in photoshop so it's not as exact unfortunately.

It's incredibly emotive and speaks a lot about humanity and sacrifice. The more I think about it, the more it touches me. It's not always easy to tell a tale without words, or even express feelings. Further genius yet lends to the colors. The donor's colors are cool and create a solemn mood and as the time comes, they dim until it's all over. Then, the recipient has a brighter palette, which swells with light as the precious heart is placed and implanted. Thus the fire of life is rekindled through that sacrifice.
I hope others can see it that way too.
