Description
This is by far one of my most faverourite pieces from my time at Oswalds in London. What could be described as a happy accident now serves as a constant reminder of my time spent in London. References taken from drawings of 'St Pauls Cathedral' from the south bank of the Thames and Londons gloomy weather which always creates fantastic dramatic cloud formations.Monoprint.

The heavy foreground silhouetted against the delicate, cloudy sky is remarkably striking. It creates for me an "unforced" statement of endurance that works well with the subject matter. I truly enjoy it.

There has only been one colour used in this monoprint, London as I remember despite the life and colour found indoors and tucked away in little places can bee seen as VERY gloomy and lonesome at the best of times, especially in Winter...

Thank you very much, I discovered how to do that when I wanted to wipe ink off the plate, it took a few wipes to get it all off. happy discoveries
