Reminds me of Stoneheng a little bit. (Just read a book about megalithic sites in England)
Apparently there were thousands of them in reality but many are mostly worn out or destroyed. But a researcher/author, (Christopher Knight) who studied freemasonry, ancient history, and megalithic sites years, says there is evidence that many of them, including Stonehenge, were part of a network of sites that worked as a stellar chronometer system to calculate the return of certain celestial bodies... some of the might have been comets. Whoever built them must had had enormous knowledge. If this is true, Stonehenge wasn't just for measuring the seasons.
