Circi, my fairy of circuses and fun fairs, in her enchantix.I wasn't 100% sure whether to upload this here or not, because I feel like there are many faults here, but I decided to do it anyway. The sketch was made in summer, but I didn't get to colour it before now. The wing placement just didn't cooperate at all, and it's still not perfect, but it was the best I could do with this angle.
The title is in Italian and translates to 'Let me dance'. Great thanks to fiorei who always helps me out with all the cool sounding Italian titles

wow...this is amazing! Seriously, really amazing! And that title is perfect--she really does look like she's dancing! but if I did that, I'd probably just fall over and hurt myself. These fairies are flexible little things 
Not perfect, huh? Well, I'd say it's pretty darn close to perfect. Her facial expression, her pose, her outfit. It's all beautiful. Really, so beautiful!
All I can think of when I hear anything similar to the name Circi is Cersei Lannister from Game of Thrones. However, GoT Cersei is a complete bitch (pardon my french) however, your Circi seems like the complete opposite!

Oh me too, my back isn't very flexible at all. But Circi is supposed to be able to do these things, she's a gymnast 
Ah, hahha, I'm really glad you like it! I think it's a common thing to see a lot of flaws in your own work, so I don't think I can be 100% pleased with it, but I'm glad you enjoy it
Urgh I know, I've noticed that that too. I don't mind that much. 'Circi' is just her nickname though, her birth name is 'Circussa', but she thinks that's so embarrassing, that nobody knows it's her birth name. Her powers are funfairs and circusses, hence 'Circussa'
Circi is also a bitch though, she doesn't show it here, but she is the bitchy of my characters. She's one of the popular, rich kids and an athlete on top of that, so yeah, I guess that explains that? xD

I've always wanted to do a drawing with transparent wings, but it's so difficult and theres so much work that goes into it, but you did splendidly! (Never really used that word before, but I like it!)

Oh but the transparency is wicked easy if you know a little photoshop. Digitally at least. Traditionally it's a pain, so yeah I agree with you there!

I don't have photoshop, nor do I know my way around photoshop, but I'm sure it is much easier digitally, cause traditionally it is a pain! I love using transparent bits for enchantix's, and they're gorgeous, but it took a while to get it right, I don't know if I've really, "gotten it right" yet, but I'm getting used to it at least, haha

It really is. I have seperate files with all the wings and it's just smacking them on and using some photoshop features to add transparency and such :3 It really is a pain traditionally with all the effects. But I also think it's more pleasing to draw traditionally :3 Well it is something that takes practice but then again, everything you want to be good at does xD

Haha, yeah, I know a lot of people do that for wings, it makes that a lot easier, wings can be a pain too sometimes, Some are simple but then there's always trying to get them even and in the right spots. I always draw them and take a look at the pic and realize that one wing is like, 20 times higher than the other, lol. I do really enjoy drawing traditionally though, even though I haven't drawn digitally so I can't really compare

It does. Once you've made the wings you can just reuse them as many times as you need. They are more tricky traditionally because of effects and transparency, and of course, getting them both the right size and shape, so symmetry. I agree with you there. But it is fun to do traditionally, I mean I like it :3 And I'm glad you are enjoying it too :3
Digital drawing is nice, it has it's advantages and disadvantages too, but I like it :3 It's more technical though, you have to know the software you are working in (luckily the setup of most of them is roughly the same).

It would be nice if there was a free version of photoshop, or something just as good I guess, to do digital art and play with it

There are tons of free picture manipulation programs that are made to look like photoshop. It's not exactly the same but you've got all the essential functions, as far as I know. I haven't used any of them much though. Two examples are Pixlr and Gimp :3
