We hope that you had a great day with friends and family! 
This is a collaboration between fiorei and myself. It was supposed to be done in time for your birthday, and then in time for mermay
Nonetheless one does not need an excuse to draw or submit Kia's Aquatix <3 I coloured Mari's sketch, which she then animated. It's rarely I get to work on things that become animations in the end, and this was very fun to work on
I also tried out a new colouring style. Let me know what you guys think. I can't help but think, that in the end result it looks like she is dancing under water

And from Mari, she is sorry if animation is a bit weird, still learning + my RAM ran out so I could not physically animate the upper pearls :'D But I hope you'll enjoy our Mermaidy Kia, and I hope her mermaid self will go to her dreamed surface, or I just guess Rainer can use his Canarian fishing "rod" to lure her out ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°) From Jas: SRSLY, WTF Mari?? Okay after last joke Mari jumped off our text walls, RIP.

This pose is so very Kia, and all the details so nicely drawn! The Deep mysterious ocean feel in the colouring, and the light, like it's a choice of if she's swimming up, or dancing under a spotlight.
Somehow bby Kia looks quite grown up here.....So much floatyness

Now everything aside, I realize I never told you how much I liked how you coloured it <3 Especially it gave a depth to the tail and cloth that I likes too much!
A special thank you for using this type of colouring is because the gif format didn't eat colour it as much as it loves to.
