Description

Shroud is an otherworldly being of uncertain origin whose functions somewhat like the Grim Reaper. His cloak is s a portal to purgatory/limbo/the underworld depending on why he's come to collect you. Generally, he has no control over when or how the victim dies and does not judge any of the Children of Time (mortals). He may not even know what happens next after death. He does not travel far into the realms of either The Endless or The Neverwas (i.e. good/evil, order/chaos). He was a mindless force of nature until recently, maybe until the 2nd Seraph War, when gained some measure of independence and self-determination. His powers include telekinesis, intangibility, time manipulation, and teleportation. His companions include Grave and Sepulchre. He and The Lantern occasionally dispute over some victim’s passing. He is known to and can interact with other spirits of the Air, Earth, Water, Fire, etc.
