Gala is a very sweet individual, she tries to help her friends whenever she can. As her talent is writing lyrics, she can be quite poetic as well as lyrical, and is said to have a way with words. Even though her talent is related to music, Gala is a horrible singer and is both embarrassed and prideful about this fact.

Gala can also be whimsical at times, and frequently decides things unpredictably. She is the opposite of her older brother, who prefers things to be organized and predictable. Gala often gets mistaken as an airhead and oblivious pony due to her seemingly being unaware of Pandemonium and Harmony’s feeling for her. However, she is really an observant pony and chooses not to show it.
