Background info: Satin's parents met during an unfortunate accident at an airshow - one that ended in Blossomforth being injured and Bulk going out of his way to help her, which lead to the giant Pegasus taking care of her while she healed. The two mostly kept to themselves (Although the more gossipy folks of ponyville enjoyed talking about the strange couple),
making the pregnancy a surprise.

Personality: the epitome of a gentle giant, Satin was a rather shy child. She towered over the other children, something that (along with the tiny wings she adopted from her dad) prompted plenty of teasings from her peers. Only when she discovered her talents did she manage to break out of her shell, proving to those around her that a pony her size can be as graceful as any petite made
As an adult she owns a dance studio for young ponies.

Relationships:
-Although she loves her mum just fine, Satin definitely has a deeper bond with her dad. Blossomforth was a bit of an absent parent, giving Bulk plenty of time to be Satin's rock. For a guy who doesn't seem too bright, he helped her greatly through the fillyhood teasing, and encouraged her to persue her dreams.
- and once that dream came true, Satin met one of her favourite students: Grace, the second child of twilight and pinkie pie. The determination the tiny, chubby filly put into her dancing lessons reminded Satin of herself at that age, the similarity prompting the two to become fast friends. Satin is wildly protective over Grace, only losing her typical serene nature when someone is cruel to her student
-Another one of her students was the daughter of spike and applebloom, which lead her to meet her cousin, Buttercup Beam. The two clicked instantly, becoming one of the most goddamn kind and cheerful couples in ponyville.
