Whosshhh!! More art! So yeah. I imagened this scene after I read Mapleshades book. I know that she even said that she liked being in the dark forest, but she couldn't have fogotten her kids, right? So I imagended her looking for her kits. Fact: Dark forest cats are not able to cross the border, but StarClan cats are. I actually alsowanted to draw a StarClan cat being heartbroken seeing broken Mapleshade.
I love Mapleshade for her backstory and her character. She had a good reason killing some cats. I do not want to make her look weak. No! But I think that eventhough she turned cold, she still feels guilt and lost.
Btw. The two StarClan cats are no actual characters! I was not sure which Cats were in StarClan during Mapleshades event. Noticed that one of them looks similar to Snowpelt, but this wasn't intended in anyway! She wasn't even born yet!
