Description Despite it's sketchiness, I really like this. I've wanted to draw Claus with the Dark Dragon for a while--I love art depicting the dragon, both dark and light--I love the concept in the game, and how you were really kind of left in the dark as to what would have or did happen in the end. Itoi really has a way of making me love everything he touches.

The title comes from "Dead March" by Suicide Commando , one of the songs that I associate with Claus. The music is very reminiscent of his battle music, and the sound/lyrics just... fit.

I love the picture and everything(especially the uniform~) but, and this is going to sound silly, the song that you linked, what are the lyrics exactly? I can barely understand them over the sound of the music...

Your Claus is the best I really love how you drew the dragon as just a shadow as well, since you never really get a good look at it in the game, so a lot's left up to interpretation

Your interpretation of Claus still has to be my favourite when it comes to him. He just looks so elegant and emotionless, which really fits the character. The concept with the dark dragon is really lovely. It honestly wouldn't have that same appeal without the 'sketchy'ness to it.

Awesome Glad to see more stuff from you. You should put it on the forum as well It's looking kinda sparse over there. Love our clothing/costume design. That's something I suck at so I can really appreciate it.
