Posting from phone, have this potato quality pic from my sketch bookThis is why I prefer scanners... But at least almera's getting a second chance at life ;7;
Other lady is a rather colorful orca/ other hybrid mer :u

I really like how the shrimp/lobster tail turned out. That's a combination you don't often see in mermaids. Also, kind of random but, I like the longer tail on the other mermaid (makes it look really powerful).

;7; I was worried it looked bad but that's good to hear ;7; and I know, crustaceans are woefully overlooked when it comes to making mermaids, so I figured since the character was already themed roughly around them, that I'd go with a lobster tail for her... though I was gonna originally make her a sea scorpion mer.
That was the intention and I'm glad it worked...;7; cause she'd roughly based around an orca, so I had to make her bigger then Almera, but didn't wanna just make her humanoid half huge as well since that wouldn't get the right effect ;u;

A sea scorpion mermaid would be interesting too. They have those weird feathery looking appendages.
