Hello! Stardust Nightingale here with a new drawing- Kelly Patterson, she is a very old OC of mine, one of the first characters I have ever made and she was a pretty cringey OC. She was a Star Wars OC and an assassin- If you are wondering, YES, the yellow crop top and thigh-length boots were part of her outfit expect instead of shorts, she had a mini shirt. Baby Stardust thought a bright yellow crop top, thigh-high boots, and a mini-skirt was the perfect outfit for a Star Wars assassin. Now I don't gatekeeping on how everything has to be realistic - I honestly believe a good story has a mixture of fictional and realism; the fictional to keep things interesting and realism to make things feel more real and relatable. So instead of her mini-skirt, I gave her shorts.

So She was originally named 'Killy Bonteri', the older long-lost sister of Lux Bonteri. I honeslty thought I was clever thinking of that name; her backstory was she was kind of a rebellious teen, wanting to be more of a solider of the Separatists rather than a senator. She had a closer relationship with her father and protective of her younger brother but never trusted Dooku. When her father was killed by clones, 'Killy' believed Dooku set it up and this cause a torn in her and her mother, Mina's relationship; she starts to see the Separatists as toxic and without even saying good-bye, she left. Then she somehow joined the Republic as an assassin and was close friends with Ahsoka Tano, Riyo Chuchi, and my other pretty bad OCs; these characters (Ahsoka and Riyo included) was part of a singing group called 'The Republic Girls'. To be honest, I didn't take my OCs or storylines seriously, not even trying but expected others to take them seriously. However, I learned some things as I grew and decided to take creating stories and characters more seriously . Poor 'Killy' and my other bad OCs were left on the shelf until I was found some of my old drawings of them, deciding to redraw them for fun to see how much I've improved. I wish I could show you guys my old drawings of Killy but so far I haven't found anything- I think I threw out during spring cleaning..oops ^^, I think I'll find one eventually. Soon I eventually decided to redesign and rename my old Star Wars OCs and make them official characters of a project I plan on doing. I have redesigned other OCs and working on Killy's new design, giving her the name Kelly with a new backstory inspired by her Star Wars one. I eventually settled with the name 'Aiden' as I think it suits her more. I'll post Aiden's new design when I'm done, along with my other freshly improved characters along their backstories as Star Wars OCs. I honestly think it's fun to redraw your old drawings to show your improvement, it makes me feel nostalgic and proud of how far I've gone with my journey as an artist.
If anyone is wondering why I didn't draw her hands, I tried but kept messing it up then gave up because I didn't want to ruin the picture.
