YEAH YOURE WORSE THAN NICATINEjust another exMple of the $10 commissions I'm offering. I always hated Archie's BAD GIRLS MUST WEAR BLACK thing. Her old outfit was much cuter.

I gotta admit, I do love her in the jumpsuit. That said, I like her bad girl hairstyle a bit better. And her bad girl outfit makes me think of Fallout, so it's not all bad.(I love Fallout, sorry.)

This looks beautiful. And yeah, I completely agree about her outfit. I'm not saying that her new design is bad, but her old one was much better. I still can't understand why they kept the yellow bow. It seems so unfitting with her new look. The new hair bugs me the most though. Her new hairdo seems more like a longer, spiky version of Sally's. The old hair was much more original (and cuter).

I so agree with you on how her old outfit looks way better than the new one. The writers of the comic wanted to make sure everyone knew sure turned from good girl to bad girl and as you know one of the ways is make her new outfit all black. I agree its a narrow minded, clichΓ©, and rather outdated view.

I don't think viewers need a visual hint to understand a character is bad if the character does bad things. I mean both Lien-da and her (their "bad" girls) wear black leather. Idk. But like you said it is cliche.

I suppose, but I personally always feel like artists/writers are treating me like I'm stupid when they so that. XD And it's not rambling, we are having a discussion on character design!
I also dont mean to seem like I hate Fiona's new outfit. Her hair was changed to make her less like Sally, and the black one does look nice against her burnt red and yellow. It also break up her form nicely.

To me Fiona's new outfit is just OK. It's hard to go wrong with a tight black outfit for a girl. (unless it's Halle berry Catwoman costume, oh man did they mess that one up!)
I don't hate her new outfit either, I just think the old one looked better on her. I'm glad they kept the yellow bow, if only to add a bit of color and retain a link to her past character iterations.

Yup. I agree. It also keeps her appearance kind of "girly", instead if erasing all her femininity now that she is "bad". Compared to her old outfit, her new one is kind of dry. It lacks character, it's not unique. It's just another outfit. (Yellow and Red is also one of my favorite color combinations)
